We are an earth-based, all faiths organization supporting people in their spiritual growth
through education, community, and ceremony.
What does that mean?
We are earth-based. This means that we are centered on the earth and how we live our lives as part of a living planet. We seek to balance spiritual experience with hands on demonstration of our beliefs in the physical world and continuously improve our respectful, balanced relationship with the planet.
We are all faiths, not interfaith. Many of our members are dual faith or have direct spiritual experiences that their faith may not provide adequate support for exploring. Others practice a faith that is under-represented in the area where they live and they may become members to enjoy the protections our group offers. Still others join us casually to develop themselves spiritually without being part of the organization. We do not believe in interfaith theory, which is something to the tune of there being a common truth we all share, that all religions can get along, and that all belief systems lead a person to the same place. We instead recognize that some spiritual paths contradict each other, but see this as part of a whole composes all of the physical and spiritual worlds. Thus we seek to respect differences while creating common spaces where we can worship in the same space, whether that is in our own ways or in agreed-on shared ceremonial practice. This may look like multiple groups within our community sharing spaces or, when space allows, having both individually designated spaces and shared spaces on the same grounds. We also provide a platform for indigenous and traveling spiritual teachers to share their cultures and beliefs with us. Our organization began in 2015 in response to the growing abuse, social injustice, and overall lack of quality coming out of the spiritual and religious fields in our area. We thus have rather strict guidelines for presenters, membership, and ordination. However, many of our meetings are open to the public. Please explore the sections of this website to learn more about us. We’d be happy to see you at our next meeting! |
